By noon today my roc may have a new owner
Don't really want to but she just isn't getting any use, sat on the driveway now I've got a company car.

DSG Mechatronic Issues
Couldn't agree more sb! Had an issue with mechatronics at first, got resolved straight away. Fine since.
Love the dsg for every reason u stated above.
Anyone who slags it without trying it is making a highly uninformed decision.

There's no point arguing the low debate.
One mans low is another mans ridiculous.
And one mans ride height is another mans joke.

DSG Went All Weird...!!!
Had this on six speed dsg.
Cruising at a steady 60, suddenly Dropped thru all the gears down to 2nd. Revs went sky high.
Mechatronics fault or over temp sensor fault. Take it to dealer and describe what happened.
New mechatronics or sensor.

Boom noise on gear change with DSG
All petrol turbo charged cars with a DSG box will 'fart' on the upshift. Fact. More noticeable under heavier acceleration. There is essentially no break in drive to the wheels when changing gear. You imagine the DSG is changing between the two clutches in around 8 milliseconds, the engine will have ...

It's the DSG Fart you're on about pal. Completely normal when changing up.
What's not to love? Sounds awesome, especially with a decat

DSG Issue
This is all normal DSG behaviour. Your right 'D' mode is highly economical and you're in 6th before you know it and 'S' is abit overkill for just cruising around. I have a 2.0 tsi and agree also that DSG changes gear very low in the rev range when driving steady in 'D' but can't say it feels like it...
