Moving on..

Post by morrissey »

Well all good things must come to an end, so after 2 years of Roc ownership I'm selling up and swapping on saturday.
Thanks to Kev for running a great forum - keep on Roccing.

I'll still be lurking from time to time :)

After the last 2 winters wanted the 4WD back.

So we should be in for a few mild ones now, according to sod's law :)

Well just to keep all things equal on the roads our MK6 GTI goes in Tues to pick up our shiny new roc. Lovely car but to quote a friend it was '' The GTI your dad buys''.
Looking forward to a better looking car, and will not miss the white paint....Never,Never Again!!!!

great choice having been in both R derivatives i can say dynamically the grip this has is superb, it feels like a 4wd GTI with so much better steering feel than a S3, post some piccies, oddly though i sought of love the manic behavour of the roc R in comparison

The Golf R is fun and chuckable, as is the Scirocco, but in a completely different way.
Every one is a winner here :)

On a related matter, I will have a rigid plastic load liner and a set of 4 almost new luxury carpet mats to offload next week.
I'll put them on the board on Monday, but PM me if you are interested and willing to collect from Warks.
