Re: Drivers side thigh support RHS
Thats whay VW leather interios are a bad idea. They wear really badly, there is an awful lot of low mileage cars with pretty tatty looking drivers / passeneger seats. But the Cloth interiors look fine. Really???? In my opinion the cloth interior has never looked fine. Can't understand anyone buying ...

Re: Revised Scirocco or Computer Generated ?
If I remember rightly the Iroc front end was changed because it was felt to be too close to the audi family look.

Re: DSG as standard
God I hope not and if they do there better be a manual option. Would definitely be a deal breaker having to have DSG and pay the extra for the 'pleasure.'

Re: Scirocco or Corrado
In reality the Corrado was the Mk3 Scirocco as it was the the third generation VW coupe and the direct replacement / successor to the Scirocco. They just changed the name as they did with the Jetta, Bora, Vento etc. You could argue that following the direct lineage the new rocco is the Mk4 coupe. :s...

Downloading video on to the HDD
Does anyone know if it's possible to download video files (such as wmv) from a SDcard on to the HDD, I heard a rumour you can but can't see anyway of doing it.
Cheers

Re: Day Driving Lights
Personally I don't understand the whole issue with DRLs and I have no problem with them. As a biker im both used to having them on and appreciate the advantages of increased visibility. If it stops some muppet from pulling out in front of me then great. Bit puzzled why people don't want DRLs but the...

Re: Got it!!!!
Thanks, originally didn't want it in blue as there seemed to be a lot of blue demo cars but having seen it I there was no other choice. Despite a few niggling little things its fantastic  I let my dad have a drive on Sunday and he instantly impressed as well. Not bad considering he's got a BMW...

Black ones?
Do you know what I haven't checked yet, I'm going out to the car park in a bit to have a look.

Re: Sat Nav DVD???
I did check... by pressing eject. I was just checking as some sat nav units have the provision for holding both the DVD and a CD. Also some of the Audi have the slot for the DVD hidden away in the glove box and i wanted to check there wasn't something I'd missed. It's already on my list of things to...

Sat Nav DVD???
Just got my rocco with sat nav. Should I have a DVD for the navigation unit? And if yes is it in the main head unit. I know this sounds a dumb question but my dads Audi has a DVD and I thought the Scirocco did as well but I can't find it. About 50% of my hard drive seems to be taken up with nav info...

Got it!!!!
Got my rocco eventually, :D :D :D After waiting what seems like a life time for the DVLA to get my V5 and retention certificate through they arrived on Saturday so legged it down to Milton Keynes (170miles) to pick it up. First impressions are that it more than lives upto expectations and washing it...

Re: DSG OR NOT
Just to add to what Rufus siad. I picked up my manual rocco GT on Saturday and have absolutely no regrets in doing the changing myself. Loving it big time. Infact my only regret is no Dynaudio, but mine's an ex-demo so couldn't order it.

Re: DSG OR NOT
Have to say that I agree entirely that its personal taste. I know loads of people on here love the DSG but for me the DSG is far too secretive, like having the KGB in the car :p I test drove both the DSG and Manual and have driven by dads Audi a lot which has a similar semi-auto system and for me I ...

Re: What else you considered
What else did I consider? Not a lot really, I saw the first pics of the roc and made my mind up I had to have one. Did briefly look at a 1 Series but just dull and the dealer was useless, Mini Cooper S is far too common, the Golf (Mk V or VI) aren't as good looking and a Z4 Coupe wasn't practical en...

Re: 6 Days to go!
I know the feeling mate, my rocco's sat at the dealer ready to go but I'm waiting fot the dvla to get my V5 back to me so I can trade in my current car. The suspense is actually killing me. i keep racing home every night to see if its arrived, its been two weeks now. Tonight's the night I'm sure of ...

Which begs the question, why did they not fit it as standard
My girlfriends MkV Golf has it and I do quite fancy it in the rocco.

Re: New/pre-reg GT's with 17 inch wheels
i had a look at a couple of these at Wayside in Milton Keynes. A GT with 17s, leather and either rising blue or reflex silver was £19,100 I think. decided to go for an ex-demo in the end with better spec and the 18s.

Nice car mate, what colour is it? I don't think I've seen it before. Whats the spec, they look like S3 rims.

Other VAG cars owned
Just wondering what people's car history is pre-rocco, what other VAG cars have people owned? For starters, I'm trading my Skoda Fabia VRS in for the Rocco and before that i had a Seat Arosa 16v Sport. I've also got a 1981 Mk1 Jetta in the garage :D So come on people, whats your history and what dep...
