Re: What's a good way to value my Rocco ?

Webuyanycar.com is a good reference point. They have given a better price than main dealers for a couple of people I know recently.

Re: Newbie Questions

Hi, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the 1.4 (160) tsi. I've had one since new, Dec 2009. It has been a joy to own. Its done 22500 miles so far and just keeps getting better. I get 40 mpg overall, not much city driving. Mainly A roads and M ways. I'd recommend one with full main dealer service hi...

Re: Damage to Rear Nearside Wheel Arch

I've just had my bonnet resprayed in rising blue due to a horrendous stone chip. Carl Vella was where I had it done in Preston. An excellent colour match. It cost £240 including vat. I tried a touchup first but I couldn't live with it

Re: DOOR PROBLEM WHEN ICEY

Autoglym silicone spray keeps the rubber from freezing. Apply every few weeks during the winter months. It worked for me last winter.

Re: VW Customer Service

I received excellent customer service from Duton Forshaw VW Preston. They kept me up to date with any news about my order. But when you order a car that has a 20 or more week waiting list, there isn't much to tell once the build week has been established. I picked my Scirocco up in December and so f...

Re: Why did you chose 1.4 over 2.0 TSI???

I bought my 160 tsi because its cheaper to buy, insure, road tax, more economical on fuel and mostly because the tsi 160 is a brilliant engine.

Spraying Silicone on the rubbers works for me but the spray gets everywhere even when covering up. Has anyone tried silicone grease?

The Interlargos were a must have for me, as they aren't standard on the 1.4 tsi. Fog lights and mats were negotiated :p
