Re: What Colour?
It would be interesting to know which colour people have or would have chosen for a factory order as opposed to opting for a colour because a car in that colour was available rather than being forced to wait 3 months for their first choice.
Re: What Colour?
I chose white and really think the car suits it.I know it's very fashionable at the moment and is likely to become equally unfashionable in the future but i think Volkswagens and the coupe variants imparticular have always suited the Alpine/Candy white.I'm on the hunt for 19"BBS alloys to go on it as i think the factory 18" wheels aren't very nice.I'm not one for lowering etc. and worry on bigger wheels it'll look even more jacked up!Need to see somebody else make the move first.

Re: What Colour?
I'm pleased I have silver now looking at the poll!! I was originally going to order a white car, but got a cracking deal on the car I have as it was sat in stock and they needed to reach target!
White looks like it might become a little common

Car is now Sold!!!!! BMW 7 Series for now as nice and big but holding out for something a little special as my toy

Re: What Colour?
Interesting… the general consensus in earlier discussions was that Rising Blue would be most popular.
Suprinsing how few Silver there are considering it is the most popular colour for new cars overall. Good to see a few Sumatra's - there was early speculation that this would be the least popular but I think now it can be seen in the metal it will gain in popularity. Same my apply to Viper Green when they start coming through.

Re: What Colour?
not surprising, white features heavily in brochures and advertising, car also looks great in white, i am surprised it not even more
rising blue featured heavily in the press launch and magazines, looks great and may have converted a few non blue fans like myself

Re: What Colour?
I think the results are swayed a little by all the demo's being sold, I think alot of them were rising blue and white, so it will be interesting to see this poll change over time. I think all the VW press cars were either these two colours.
I think the car looks good in Silver, but every other car is on the road is silver, so glad to have white, even if its filthy at the moment.

Re: What Colour?
Yeah I have to agree with stan, wait till 60% of owners will have Black.
At this moment of time with my car being the only one on the road where I live, I'm glad I have White it stands out even more.
Maybe after a year or two, when Xenons are readily available and I get that well earned bonus, I'll order another with the Sports Body Kit in Sumatra or Viper Green with the full whack in the car even the things I can live without today - this car just deserves it.

Re: What Colour?
All the press cars were black, white and blue. That will heavily influence buyers I think. You get used to seeing particular colours and subconsciously think they look best. I agree about silver though. It's easily a popular choice for the last 6 years or so but I think people are starting to look at something a bit different now.
I've gone for blue purely because I've wanted blue for ages. The puma didn't have it (unless you went OTT money wise on the Racing version) and my 106 before that was an ex demo in red (blue was the popular choice I really wanted). So now I have the chance I'm going to take it! Rising blue it is.
I have a mate who would have the viper green in a heart beat. He loves all the lurid colours

Re: What Colour?
My last few cars were silver and I was fed up with silver and even metallic paints to be honest.
I have had a lot of white sports coupe type cars - I love white and I think white makes a car look wider and lower. I think the Scirocco looks fantastic in white and I wanted a white Scirocco, I ordered a white Scirocco and 3 months later I've got a white Scirocco with 300 miles on the clock and it's already been lowered.
I love the Oettinger RXX wheels in black but they only do 19" and with the springs it may be too hard - but we'll see! I think they would look great on a white car - I also like the Oettinger body kit - maybe next year.
In the meantime I've got an idea I'm going to try out. If it works I'll post some pics - if not I won't! Incidentally, the red "Scirocco" steering wheel badge looks better on the car than it did just photographed on the badge.

Re: What Colour?
Grrrr..... deciding on a colour is pecking my head....
I went originally for black, changed the order to white, changed THAT to sumatra after seeing square eyes pics & others.... now thinking it's a little TOO brown & that white looks proper handsome afterall (especially with the panoroof contrastings along with the headlights / trim)... grrrrr
My dealer's gonna hate me... saying that my delivery date isn't until March so I think I'm safe to change...
