has anyone tried putting this update onto an RCD510?

My local dealer only gives out Polo's too - generally the horrendously specced ones too - awful cars!

I've got a sumatra and I'm really happy with it. It looks absolutely nothing like the image on the VW configurator - much more like Lava Grey Audi's when it's out of the direct sunlight, and when it's in sunlight you get tinges of copper in the grey - I love it!

If I do that, my foglights come on, then when I push back in, they turn off but the sidelights remain...

I've got the merlin cloth and it's great - I've also got heated seats from thw winter pack installed and they're great with the cloth too (I was a little dubious as I'd had heated leather in my TT previously) - I think they do the job just as well as the leather seats *and* you don't get that horrib...

I've got just over 2k miles on the clock and I've got an average of 30.7MPG. My most regular commute is a 140 mile trip two or three times a week - about 80 miles of that is the M6 motorway and the rest is A roads.... I am fairly heavy footed though.

I use a 16GB Lexar USB Key that's a fairly high speed - it was about 18 quid from aria.co.uk

Make sure that whatever you're connecting is formatted to FAT 32 and it should work fine.
