Scirocco Facelift Model due in Q4

Post by robjones23 »

Hi all,

Just spoke to my dealer and they've advised me that there will be a Scirocco Facelift released in Q4 and as a result *ALL* the current models will receive "limited parts availability". When I asked what that meant, she said that VW are basically going to stop producing spares for the current models and that once the official stock has been sold on, they'll be recommending "upgrading your vehicle".

This is shocking - another reason for me to be pi$$ed at VW. Horrendous customer service and a blatent attempt to rip off loyal customers.

Rob.

What a load of rubbish. They're still producing parts for 10 year old cars so why would they stop making parts for 1 year old cars? Imagine taking your car in for a service at VW and being told they couldn't get a spare part they needed so you'd have to buy a new car! Rediculous. I don't think dealers process what they're going to say before it comes out their mouths half the time...

okay, considering the car has been out for a relatively short while a facelift so soon is a kick in the teeth for anyone that got the car from launch. Well im not getting one for at least a year from now so can't complain really. I just hope they'll give the car the 170ps diesel (ill be doing a lot of miles so the diesel makes most sense unfortunately) and have a few more toys. does anyone know any news on the new spec im guessing it'll mirror the golfs spec pretty closely.

Hey guys,
im Theo from Cyprus,

Ive been wondering in the German page to see that picture posted before.
Its not a facelift but just the "VW Individual" version of the interior.
Maybe ok the steering wheel will change but i don't think there will be an exterior change of the car!
