I had mine fitted by dealers when I bought it, they made a balls of the painting of the sensors so it's back with them now to do it properly. I didn't think it would that hard to paint them properly

Yeah, I haven't noticed any dropping of the door really, it's with the dealer at the moment and I've asked them to have a look, when you adjusted the hinges did the seals remove the touch up paint after that?

Washed the car at the weekend and noticed that the paint appears to be being taken off by the rubber seals on both drivers and passenger side. I think they are nice, but I would probably prefer the light bar ones, i would like to get them but again they are too problematic, I just got the R smoked oem ones instead. They remind me of the rear lights on the GTD from about 2010.

Hey, does anyone know if Scirocco's have the cornering feature where the fog lights turn on when going around bends, I've seen 2010 golds with it so I wonder why the scirocco doesn't have the feature.

It would have no black plastic strips on the side if it were an R or R line, and different front and rear bumpers to a standard scirocco, there's probably other things I can't think of right now

Does anyone know if the runs-510 Sat Nav has lane direction, i.e. 'take the middle lane', its something that I can't get to work on mine in Ireland. Its really nice to have and works well in google maps etc. I bought my Unit earlier this year and it has the latest version of the maps.

No mention of mpg or performance effects from update though

If this turns out to be true then it's a disgrace, VW takes it for granted that we will continue to buy their cars, when the time comes, I for one will seriously have to consider other brands after 12+ years of VW ownership

Not a lawyer, but surely we have some sort of recourse on some consumer rights law. I don't plan to take it lying down if it affects power, economy or a drastic drop in resale value.

Checked, mines affected too, does anyone think we have any recourse with the dealer/VW on the excessive depreciation (assumed) our cars will have. I've done and it is plug and play, I haven't done the coding to get it to work with MFD yet, but it works with factory Bluetooth without coding, and also the steering controls
