VCDS cable eBay

Post by brian2.0TDiblue »

Can anyone recommend a VCDS cable from eBay etc, I would like to get one without actually spending the full whack for the Rosstech version, like this one from eBay, if anyone could recommend one that would be great.

thanks in advance

Majority of people on here wouldn't usually recommend a non-legit cable. There has been at least one instance of someone causing problems with a module due to those cables on this forum (if I remember correctly).... However, I expect the next post below to tell you exactly where you can buy them :')

This topic is another that has been done to death.
I wish people would actually look at the section or search function.
As said above the majority of people including myself don't recommend using a cheap ebay cable. If something goes wrong what can you do about it. The cable doesn't get software updates like a genuine ross tech. And you don't get customer support either.

My opinion pay the money for a genuine cable.
Or find somebody to do the mods for you with one.
