Cornering lights in fog lights

Post by brian2.0TDiblue »

Hey, does anyone know if Scirocco's have the cornering feature where the fog lights turn on when going around bends, I've seen 2010 golds with it so I wonder why the scirocco doesn't have the feature.

On cars with Xenons, the cornering light is in the main headlight cluster.

Cornering lights in fog lights is not standard but I believe can be activated with VCDS.

Oh right, wonder why VW didn't just enable it when they built it, thanks

Thats a good question, there are a lot of functions that aren't activated by factory.
Maybe the more expensive the more they enable?

Because having fog lights on in built up areas or when it's not foggy is illegal I would guess is the reason.

I doubt it is the reason as its something which seat and others offer from factory in the UK already
