I've had this on my old Golf, which was on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics. I think the only thing you can do is buy new tyres!

Since the car was new, I've noticed optical distortion on the lower left corner of the windscreen. As a result, when you're driving along, lines by the left side of the road can actually look a bit wavy as I drive past... I believe this to be a characteristic of direct injection engines. My 2.0 TSI can sound like a diesel, but not as much the current E90 BMW 320i!

Has anyone actually tested the 0-60 time in their 2.0 GT and gotten anywhere close to 6.1 seconds before?

I've always sat at the lights in D, even in my previous Golf GT Sport which also had the same DSG gearbox. Absolutely no problems.
