I find it really hard to believe that they'd do this given the historical sporty significance of the car. If they're no longer doing the Evo, they might as well close shop completely!

Overnight they just went from high speed rally masters to tree hugging prius lovers ... hopefully this is not the start of whats to come across the scene !!

Not surprised really. Mitsubishi motors are in dire straits financially...the recalls / scandals few years ago did the brand no favours. The Lancer Evo has been going for years....and the X wasn't as good as the previous incarnations.
Nissan dropped the Skyline with it's new GTR, and Subaru dropped the Impreza from it's WRX.
Good chance for VAG to step in and nick that Market tho
