I test drove a Giulietta Cloverleaf when it came out.
I remember how much better the roc felt to drive when I got back in it afterwards.
The cloverleaf is a bit 'squirty' and frenetic.
Haven't driven it but the common wisdom is that the multi air is nicer to drive

Re: Another Scirocco or a Golf gti
I had the same dilemna and went with the Golf R.
Punitive mpg aside, it is a nice car
I am hoping to get payback next winter with the 4WD.

Re: Moving on..
The Golf R is fun and chuckable, as is the Scirocco, but in a completely different way. Every one is a winner here :) Agree with what you say, so details, colour and number of doors If you are asking about the R, Black 3 door manual, leather, sunroof, 19s , ACC, Storage and luxury packs  One ...

Moving on..
Well all good things must come to an end, so after 2 years of Roc ownership I'm selling up and swapping on saturday.
Thanks to Kev for running a great forum - keep on Roccing.
I'll still be lurking from time to time

whoops - wrong folder - can you please move it for me Admin

Re: Arm Rest - so that's how it slides
tbh I wouldn't use it much any way - It's not much use when I'm chucking the roc around the lanes
More for the motorway runs.
Not surprised nobody else has owned up, but I reckon there's someone out there who is grateful for the clue....

Arm Rest - so that's how it slides
Coming up to two trouble-free years of Roc ownership and I finally find out how the arm rest works - doh! Despite having previously dismantled and rebuilt the arm rest I still couldn't get it to slide as per the manual. Yesterday I was in a mate's MK5 golf and he had the arm rest extended and the pe...

Re: Smokers Pack
It costs about £65 to retrofit, but can be done in about 15 minutes if you know what you are doing.
Better to spec it if you have the chance.
There is a step-by-step over in the mod section somewhere

Re: Smokers Pack
If you get a chance to spec it , do it as it's only about £15 iirc.
I retro fitted mine for about £75.
It's dead easy to fit, apart from removing and refitting the charging socket.
Without that it'd be a 15 minute job.

I had my external garage door single skinned in the middle, so I could open the driver's door.

I can help you to narrow it down (or is it the opposite?)
The story about the sunroof is complete twaddle - it's been discussed and dismissed in an earlier thread.
If you want a glass roof,go for it - I love mine.

First flash!
After 6 months of scirocco ownership I finally encountered another roc coming in the opposite direction, another pewter near Malvern.
I flashed and got a wave.
Can't believe it took so long.
