What option didn't you get that you think you should have?

Post by Kev »

I would have loved the xenons.
I don't do much country lane driving if I'm honest but they look so much better than the stock lights. I prefer the DRL option on the xenons too. Unfortunately it was in the spell when they were off the options list.

Satnav would have been a nice toy but I don't travel enough to unknown places to really need it and I can read maps :)

19" wheels if they'd been available, but the main thing I missed was the tyre indicator...

Xenons if they were more reasonably priced :(

Not for the look, but for the improved visibility at night, almost no roads are lit here & there are not even cats eyes

I just couldn't justify another 1200 Euros for headlamps after all the other stuff I went for

-Winter pack in conjuction with cloth (but we dont have that with cloth as an option only leather).
-Electric seating with 12 way memory. Also in conjunction with cloth. (hate leather sorry  )
Lastly its a long shot but the rear end of the scirocco r type. (i.e. the exaust pipes and back bumper)

xenons for me too, but as i didn't spec it myself i couldn't do much about it! Conversely one of the things i wouldn't have specced if buying new but really really like is the panorama roof.

Dynaudio, Xenons and Flat tyre indicator. My car was from stock so had no choice but its fairly well specced otherwise. Can live without all these missing choices but will probably upgrade the speakers (if I don't go for coilovers). Oh the slippery slope of modding. :hyper:
Taken delivery : Silver, DSG, NAV, Black Leather, Park Sensors, Winter pack.

Mods: Full Milltek, KW lowering springs,Wheel Spacers, Remapped to 258BHP, 405Nm

Xenons for me too, the first time I was driving in the dark with the normal lights it was like having two candles compared to the xenons.

Does anyone know it those hid kits are any good I've been thinking about them for the dipped lights, once the drls are switched off that is.
