I just having a snoop round the internet and found this..

Can it be that my unit has the menu disabled and requires VAGCOM? I only wanted to see what firmware version I had...

This didn't seem to work. I held the setup button and got to the radio menu. I kept holding it for about another 30seconds and nothing happened. I tried it with the key in the ignition and I got the unit 'beep' after about 10 seconds after the radio menu had appeared, but no 'secret' menu....

Mine pulls of to the left a bit but I thought that was normal. Designed to stop you driving into oncoming traffic if you fall asleep at the wheel/leave the handbrake off on a hill etc...

How do I find out what version of firmware I already have? I'm interested in doing this but it seems quite dependant on what version of the firmware you already have...

I get this. I find the trick is to keep it above 3000rpm....

Mines Sumatra with Truffle leather and I love it. Well it's booked in for Monday with the dealership. The window jiggle has happened quite a few times now as well as making the stereo bleep at random?!?
