I had a similar accident not long ago in my Scirocco - approaching a roundabout, nothing coming round, I take a precautionary final glance right just to make sure and the cars in front of me had stopped giving away to NOTHING! Was very frustrated! :grumpy: The damage was no where near as bad as your...

RE: limited power. Not as far as I'm aware, I gave mine a bit of stick a couple of times in the first 1,000 miles and didn't experience any hesitation.
Enjoy your Roc

Re: Broken foglight :-(
Kev, did you pick up a new foglight cover and install it? If so, did you do it yourself and how much hassle was it?
Or how hard were you shafted by a dealership to fit it?
Cheers

It seems to have been there since day one, I assumed the wet weather had something to do with it but it has been bone dry here recently and it only seems to be the near side mirror that is affected? Nothing to worry about though pal :) That's good to hear, what is it making the noise ? Is it turbo related ? Yeah some people think it is a waste...

As we both said it completely depends on how the car is going to be used and whether the extra outlay will be worth it. IF, and I know it is a big if as VW are oh so reliable (or...
