Condensation in wing mirror indicators?

Post by samwell »

Anybody else experienced this? It seems to have been there since day one, I assumed the wet weather had something to do with it but it has been bone dry here recently and it only seems to be the near side mirror that is affected?

I have searched the forum but could only find info regarding condensation in headlights.

Any help much appreciated

Cheers :)

I had condensation in my left wing mirror indicator (LHD car) but only after a guy tried to avoid a craterlike pothole and came too close to my Roc. As a result a small piece of the indicator cover was broken off, which left a hole in it so water could easily get in. The design of the indicator lens is pretty lame as it's weirdly the most outer part of the mirror (and the car!) You can easily crack it while parking...

Check yours. There might be a crack or just imperfect fit.
