Re: Auto headlights not working
Sounds like DRL's to me. Easy way to test, turn it to "0" which is off [left of auto] and if your headlights are still on then its DRL's. Back lights should also be on if it is Halogen and not Xenon as mentioned above.

Re: Possible next company car??
Hi,
Sorry can't comment on best place to get one, but I would say they are GREAT for a company car. Plenty of room, look fantastic, still have a boot and drives well. Pop it in comfort on the motorway and its ideal.
I am sure someone else will pop up with a suggestion for PCP or HP!

Got any pics? Can't say I have seen the new one, but when "the interior looks like a chain smoker has had a particularly violent sneezing fit all over the center console" it has to be seen!

Its time to "kick-off" - they know what you asked for and they have not delivered!
As above, don't offer them anything, they need to make it up to you.
I bet it still looks stunning though if your honest, even without your toys

Possibly being daft here, but why 10k? I thought the car told you when it needed doing, inc days or mileage?

Re: ipod and rns-510: VERY VERY LAGGY!
My opinion, and this may just be a coincidence - I have a 30gb classic, and this does seem laggy. It takes a while to skip etc. However, my partners nano [which I try to avoid as much as possible!] loads a treat. She doesn't have any where near the amount of songs as me, so maybe that helps explain ...

Re: New Toyota Celica...
Ever seen fast and furious: Tokyo Drift? If you haven't, I really wouldn't bother, but its effectively what they do in that film. Pick a track [or street in their case] and power slide round the corners at silly speeds.

Re: New Toyota Celica...
I like the look of it to be honest, elements of a 350z [roofline] and a RX-8 [front grille] showing through there. That said, if its a show car at the moment, it will probably change loads!

Re: Daylight Running Lights. ARGGHHH......
The instructions to turn mine off were in the manual. Well if you were successful by that method then you are the only person on this forum who has found those instructions to work so far. That method doesn't work on UK models though I did read someone's suggestion that it works on LHD's. As ...

Re: Grinding Steering Wheel Column
OK, just had the dealer on. Turns out there were some plastic transport washers that hadn't been removed on delivery. Allegedly look like fingers?!? These had come loose, and therefore started squeaking & grinding! Still sounds a bit suspect, but going to collect at 4.00pm so will check it out. ...

As usual, great response, thanks guys! It is definitely an internal noise, can't hear it outside the car. Hopefully quick fix and everything will be right as rain!
Its in at 8.00am tomorrow, so will let you know the outcome.
Cheers
