Maybe, but the Exige is making me smile much more than the R ever did, made me realise what i was missing ...what's with that no feedback electric steering, rubbish!

Was gonna be a daily car but the missus is letting me use her shed when required now so the Exige can stay on the drive in the snow!

Around 5700 miles. I expected the VW to be pretty silent as the reason i got rid of my old Elise was to buy a boring sensible car (sorry if that upsets anyone but you know what i mean!), the reason i paid more for a VW instead of say the Focus, Renault was because of VW build quality/reputation but ...

It should be an ipod specific cable ...not the USB one they throw in the glovebox.
Also i had problems connecting an ipod touch until i realised there was a software update from apple.
Always check you have the latest software for your ipod,

The megane will always win these arguements ...purely because of its price.

Bizarre, as at my dealer in Bath (if im allowed to say that) ordered mine which came in first, then they had 2 more blue R's just come in as stock.

Ok, so on my last roc GT i had the dreaded wiper smear. Anyway this time on my R there is no smear but the blades are really noisy at the point where the wipers change direction to go back up the screen after coming down, seems worse in heavier rain. Had some new blades fitted about a month ago and ...

Really annoying, i guess its come from the microfibre polishing cloth i use ...possibly pressing too hard?
Anyway, not major yet but still annoying to me!

Yes my GT was standard so im talking straight out of the box.
i personally like the fact the R is a bit understated hence why i didnt get a Focus RS!
But also i can see why people are not happy about the price difference ...but i managed to order at last years prices so im well happy
