ACC light flashing
Driving home yesterday I noticed the ACC light flashing. Nothing else seemed to be awry, but obviously this is slightly concerning. It's now stopped and I've had no problems. I'm going to get it checked out, but any ideas as to what might have caused it? Is it likely to be a temp or permenant fault?...

Re: Controlling iPod from steering wheel?
Yes, I was wondering about that too. Surely it wouldn't be impossible to remap the MFD buttons to go back to folders/input etc? Would make much more sense and be far safer than fiddling with the (somewhat sluggish) touch-screen whilst driving!

Controlling iPod from steering wheel?
Got my Roc yesterday and absolutely f-ing love it.
However, it is rather cumbersome (not to mention dangerous, when on the move!) to navigate the iPod via the touchscreen. Is there any way of doing anything other than track up/down from the steering wheel?
Cheers.

Re: Would someone please mind...
Thanks - seen them both now. Mine is definitely the pre-revision with the separate climate control dials. Are the backlights a different colour? All seems much of a muchness.

Re: Would someone please mind...
And as is the new one, I understand? Is there a post somewhere with a side-by-side comparison of the two?

Would someone please mind...
...please pointing me in the direction of a picture of the pre-week 45 interior layout? I've seen the new one - or rather, different versions of it - bur having sat in my car for the first time yesterday (joy!) I noticed that the surrounding frame on the instrument panel was silver, which I thought ...

Re: WEEK 44,45. THERE HERE
Still the silence from my dealer is deafening, apart from some chump attempting to flog me a finance package the other day, despite telling them since June I would pay the balance in full. It will be exactly 6 months since I ordered on Saturday, very poor considering how quckly some people have had ...

Re: Order to Delivery....
My dealer says they have no shipping dates, which I reckon translates as "I can't be arsed to look into this". Surely cars in the same build week will have the same shipping and thus similar delivery dates? It's taken the piss that it's taken 6 months, to be honest. There has been an expon...

Re: Order to Delivery....
Ordered 20th June, and I presume (hope!) it'll be shipped the same time as the other week 44 orders. However my dealer advised me today that delivery usually takes another 3 weeks! I hope this is just a conservative estimate on his part...

Re: Can't believe the delivery time!
That's very lucky to be honest - I ordered June 20th and have been fixed in week 44! Seems like the retailers in less popular, probably more rural/less affluent areas didn't use up their allocations as quickly.

Re: 'Scirocco' like number plates
:hyper: The scirocco should be here at the start of September. Have just taken the plunge and brought a plate for the car SC59CCO what's your opinion on this ? Thanks Think it's alright - at least it has two Cs, and doesn't just look like you can't spell. Surely numberplates with the car's name on ...

How soon before predicted build week should it become fixed? I'm still provisionally 44, shouldn't this be firmed up sometime soon?

Yes, but what will they ever aspire to when they have to buy their own car?Downtown_two wrote:I can't believe I saw "student" in this thread...I was a poor little student, bicycle was my primary mode of transport and that was 2 years ago!

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
I was originally 42, but adding stuff to my order pushed it to 44. I wouldn't mind, but that's going to mean a December delivery when I placed the order in JUNE! Not good.

Thanks - I've added the flat tyre indicator and winter pack to my order. Oh, and the electrically foldable wing mirrors. Why not eh? I've always hated having to fold the buggers...

Hi all, STILL awaiting my new baby (ordered 20th June - provisional build week 42!), and the temptation is growing to keep adding things to the order. My question for the forum is: is the Winter Pack worth it? And am I missing anything that anybody would recommend? Leathers are out - too expensive, ...
