Would someone please mind...

Post by ka1875 »

...please pointing me in the direction of a picture of the pre-week 45 interior layout? I've seen the new one - or rather, different versions of it - bur having sat in my car for the first time yesterday (joy!) I noticed that the surrounding frame on the instrument panel was silver, which I thought indicated the newer set. Mine was a 44 but I notice a couple of others have said the same thing. Not really bothered either way, just curious more than anything.

Thanks!

And as is the new one, I understand? Is there a post somewhere with a side-by-side comparison of the two?

Both models have a silver panel, the only difference is the control unit. You only get the piano black panel with the R.

Thanks - seen them both now. Mine is definitely the pre-revision with the separate climate control dials. Are the backlights a different colour? All seems much of a muchness.

You really don't have anything to backlight on the new system as the temperature shows on the rcd 510 screen and not inside the buttons as with the old one.
