Just to blend the top coat in a tidy up the overspray. I'm sure after a quick google, you can find a DIY guide with some step by step instructions.

Only thing ill add is to get some rubbing compound to blend it in afterwards its basically a harsh polish. Halfords or similar will do a tin/tube for about £4.

I have one of these. Its a Bury CC9060 but with VW firmware and matches the style if the standard RNS510 theme.

Updating the MDI firmware does not affect the RNS as it has its own module so just updates that. The RNS will remain exactly as you left it. I may be wrong but is there such a lead as a 3.5mm aux to iPod/iPhone. I have never heard an aux cable that can control your iPod/iPhone through the radio. I think you might just have to use a standard 3.5mm aux to 3.5mm aux cable and control it through the iPod/iPhone. These only cost about £1-5 I ...

I'm pretty sure it's a gps antenna or traffic system antenna could be wrong though.
