Aux & media help needed
Whenever I plug my iPhone in either through the cable that plugs in under the arm rest , or the aux cable , the sound is horrible & crackly , but via radio or CD its crystal clear , there has been one time it's played clear through the cable , do you think it is a fault with the cable it's self or is there a wrong setting that's on ? Any one else had this problem ? Any help would be amazing , thanks .

Is your iPhone in a case? Remove the case to make sure the cable is fully engaged and see how it works.

What unit do you have rns etc? I know that on my rns315 when you go in to sound settings you can adjust the sound output for mdi and Bluetooth audio. I have mine set to low. But if its set to high and you turn it up half way that could cause poor sound quality and make it crackle.. just a thought.

Yes set aux input level to low and see if that works.

Had this with mine. Set it to low and now sounds a treat. I only noticed it when upgrading my speakers to focals though.

I was just playing about with EQ and then came across it. Changed it and noticed the difference straight away , sound was terrible. So quickly changed it back to low.
