Just come across a Bluespark Automotive Petrol Turbo Tuning Box on ebay for £99 and seems to provide a extra power for a fraction of the cost. I was wondering if - a) anyone had tried this and can recommend, b) if anyone can tell me if this will cause damage to my engine and may prove to be a complete waste of time/money, c) if there is a better alternative.
Here is a link to said item - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-TT-A3-A4 ... 3cce91b82e" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thanks.

I would stay away from anything like this. I have only heard bad things about these kind of things. I you want power gains I would suggest getting a remap and panel filter. I got a DIY bluefin remap and K&N filter for a few hundred quid from demon tweeks when they had a special offer on and used the forum discount.
