Re: Engine misbehaving... 122PS
ironically I just had mine serviced nothing found at the time but problems only occurred after the service. Seems a bit better this week. Not so laggy. Now can't work out if there is a problem or not.

stuttering 122
Hi all, I wonder if I could ask your opinions... I believe my 122 has become more "laggy" lately. I find a flat spot around 3000rpm and pretty sure I've experienced a "fluttering" of acceleration where I put my foot down car speeds up, drops back, speeds up, drops back almost as ...

servicing
Hi all, quick question: I have a 3 year service pack. 10,000 miles or each year. Had first service on about 12,000 miles. So the second service has come about rather quickly after about 18 months. Can I leave it until another year passes (second birthday) or do I need to go have it done? If I don't ...

Re: Motorbikes are flipping annoying.
i really understand the attraction of bikes. I love the way they look, the way they sound, the speed. But it's very rare you see them ridden responsibly. I don't think i would be sensible on one so have avoided getting too interested. I also see how oblivious most car drivers are to just about all v...

Re: Experience 122HP Scirocco
I'm not sure it's under powered or particularly slow. It's just not as fast as the others. :-) I was worried it was gonna feel lethargic but actually it doesn't at all. Not sure it matters how fast your car goes you always feel you'd like faster... but then realistically when you really gonna exploi...

Re: Experience 122HP Scirocco
I love my 122. Fairly quick. Nice and refined. Economic. I would love a 210 but too expensive and too thirsty. It's still a quality car regardless of engine. I'd rather have a more expensive car made cheaper than a cheaper car made more expensive. If you see what I mean. I know that some people scof...

i think the cloth is quite interesting. Bit different in terms of materials and texture. Leather looks great though can't deny that.... until it gets old... a couple of months old by the sounds of it. :-S

Re: New Beetle coming soon
I like the wheels on that beetle concept :-) The "new" beetle above is pretty heavily disguised I think... rear arches look false and does all the front. I guess they have changed the roof line as it was so prohibitive on the current one for rear passengers. I almost bought one once... but...

Re: Volkswagen are robbing b@$ta**s!!
Thats pretty disgusting to charge you for that. Something that is yours by right anyway. It's like saying "yeah we are keeping the spare keys, oh yes you can have them but you have to come get them and it'll be £20 for us to get them out the safe" Lets face it if someone breaks into your c...

Re: harsh ride on 122
My brother had a cooper s on 18" with run flats that was the worst car for ride I have ever been in. My last car was an A2 on 17" it was the sport version had revised suspension... that was crashy. Have to say if you find the suspension too hard in the roc then I think you need to look at ...

Re: harsh ride on 122
hi i have a 122 with 18" inters and find the ride great tbh. Wouldn't describe as anywhere near harsh. I actually think its a great set up between comfort and firmness even on the 18" wheels. I never drove on the 17" wheel so nothing to compare to only other previously owned cars. Gue...
