Re: Rev limiter
It is normal, limiter is removed when you switch of Traction Control (Hold down the ESP button for 3 seconds). I dont drive it any other way!

Re: Windows not rolling up
Thats really weird, this happened to me the other morning. Seemed to have no relation to the cold though; didnt happen first thing in the morning when the car was cold but DID happen after a short drive, cabin temp was 24 degrees. Worried me at the time but it hasn't happened since, hopefully a one ...

Re: Victim of the Snow
Oh, I was also 'randomly' pulled over for a breath test on friday night by my friendly local police. My crime was driving out of a car park in town around midnight. I appreciate the need to clamp down on possible drink driving this time of year, but it's a bit annoying to get pulled over when you'v...

Re: Am i the first...
The first week I had my Roc I got a stone hit from a lorry...I WISH it hit my windscreen because I now have a 1" long gash in my driver side pillar. Awesome.

Always claim my mods(All one that I have)...I think replacing them is the least of your worries if you're involved in a serious accident.

I couldn't find any mod friendly insurers for a decent price so I went with Admiral. got a decent price and they're not TOO bad for mods. I'm 24 btw.

Re: Insurance - Modifications??
I'm insured with admiral, didn't declare any of my extras though. I resent paying extra for parking sensors that lower the risk of me reversing into something and costing them money.

Yea I agree with Spiney, I feel the vibration when the clutch is slightly depressed but smooth as silk while changing.

I'm not sure there ever was a switch. I have auto hold on a MY2010 Roc and it is indeed automatic.

I reckon with a file and some elbow grease I could fit some of that on my Roc.

Re: Damaged Paintwork
Planning to go in tomorrow morning, first chance I've had. Since noticing the first scratches I've had my parents, girlfriend, brothers and friends check it and each one of them seems to spot more than I was aware of so yea, I'm not too chuffed and they will be doing something to fix it (i.e. paying...

Re: Damaged Paintwork
I'm inclined to agree with you Sky, it is still the dealers responsibility and it will be them picking up the bill to fix it. I'm not going to go to them until I can get the car dried and some pictures in the sun where it is more obvious, just incase nothing shows under the lights of the dealership.

Damaged Paintwork
So here's my short story. I picked up my Candy White last Wednesday and had a good look over it in the show room, at worst the guys who cleaned it did a so so job with the wax. So as soon as I got a chance I put in a fair sized order with Autoperfection and have been waiting for my kit to give the c...

Re: 2010 Tdi 140 GT with cloth and dark roof lining?
Nope, apparently alot of dealers believe that to be true, mine included. They swore blind I would get dark lining right up until they had my car on the doorstep. 2.0TSI = Dark lining, anything with leather = dark roof lining, anything else = light lining.

Re: Got the Reg no..... Money has been taken off me.....
Hmm, very trusting of you! I paid using maestro debit card. Did put my pin number etc in until I'd taken delivery and had a look over the car first. Hopefully not long to wait now! I was the same, paid by credit card 10 mins before I drove out the dealership after having a good look over the car, w...
