Re: Lee's Candy White Scirocco
Looks good mate! Be interested to see how your exhaust sounds as I'm planning on getting mine done at some point. Any chance you could grab the part numbers for the fog deletes? They look so much better. How much were they? http://www.ebay.de/itm/121691209499" onclick="window.open(this.hr...

Re: Noise when pulling away in my rocco
Thanks for the info guys.
Just had stage 1 done, do you think I need to upgrade to a performance clutch or can I just get another standard one?

Re: which remap?
I was going to go with quantum at one point myself, here's something that I came across and I was VERY glad that I did as it made me realise it was a bad idea! "the price is the first worrying point, the second is no one has ever heard of them, the 3rd is that they appear on websites for compan...

Noise when pulling away in my rocco
So recently iv'e been getting this noise coming from my car when i start it up. When i start to pull up my clutch, from stationary, and start pressing down on the accelerator I get a noise coming from the front of the car when im literally just about to take my foot completely off the clutch. It sou...

Sorry, only have rear pair!BadBoy wrote:I'm sure you can take them off without having to remove the wheels as it's just a few screws. A small screwdriver or socket will do it. I'm after a front pair of you are looking to sell?

Removing rear mud flaps
Getting myself some lowering springs very soon...however iv'e realised that I will need to take off my mud flaps.
I bought the car with them on so I have no idea how to remove them, would I need to take off my rear wheels to do this? Ive had a search around but cant find much on this topic!

Re: APR intake claims?
It does seem pretty high.
Just not sure if I should bother getting an intake yet, if its going to give me ~10HP then I guess its worth it but don't know if it would!

APR intake claims?
So my rocco is off to get remapped by APR today, stage 1. Iv'e been looking on their site, and they reckon if I go stage 1 ill get about 255bhp, but if I fit their intake I can get 269bhp? Does this seem like quite a bit step up of power from just an intake? and if so, would the gains be the same if...

Yeah it comes to £580 inc. VAT. Decided I won't budget and go all out on a proper remap

Re: ECU has to be removed!?
I spoke to someone at revo and they said to me I'd get about 250/260bhp which I thought wasn't worth it if I could get 258 for £150 cheaper. I know it's not just about bhp but because quantum have good rep thought I'd go with them. I think maybe in the very distant future I'll end up getting a stage...

Re: ECU has to be removed!?
I've managed to get a quote for £359 for a Quantum remap so I'm going to go for that. revo is very expensive! Quantum have a good reputation by the looks of it
