I know. £400 quid and 5 hours later, i have a sparkley inlet manifold and valves. Check my previous posts for pictures.

That coupled with a full service and my 97k mile car runs like new!!

I had 2 calls in a week from local dealers. Considering i've only ever been in for servicing and never actually bought a car from them i was quite surprised!

The new manifold is a bonus too. I just paid £400 to have my manifold cleaned out due to carbon build-up which is a trait of this engine. That sounds bit of a bargain to me.

Meguiars is all i use. I love the Gold Class wax. Gives me an excellent finish but my paint isnt brilliant so once i move house and get a drive i can spend some more time putting it right.

The battery had died while i was fitting LED sidelights and lights in the footwell. It was while i was in the footwell i noticed the box. I pulled it out the car but had no resistance from a comnected cable. I've dug around and can't find the cable to plug back in. It seems the box was sitting loose...
