Re: Waterless Car Wash?
I keep a bottle of the JML viper stuff in my boot with the rags just for bird poo as I can't leave it on the paint and have to remove it asap I also recommend the waterless wax from "Carkit" as I use that on my bike where waterless wash/wax is ideal I would always use the good old fashione...

Re: Reset check engine light??
thanks for the response,
yeah I know about the OBD2 tool but dont have one to hand to reset.
The light actually went out itself after some more driving so I guess the MAF sent the ECU the correct signal and it turned it off.
I will remember the batt disconnect trick tho for future

Re: Scirocco 2.0 TSI GT DSG fuel economy
I had to get my inlet manafold replaced last week and fuel consumption has got from mid 20's to mid 30's for city driving instantly. Really interested in this also as I am averaging 17-20 mpg around town so I'll have to look into inlet manifold! I have it booked in with VW on the 19th and its under...

Re: 2.0 Tsi mpg
Wiz, Have you reset the onboard computer logs to clear out historical MPG readings - setting 2 on the Multi Function Display is cumulative "since the last reset" and could store up a lot of old, low-MPG trips. Setting 1 is the "current trip" which clears back to zero if the engi...

Mine is on 17!!!
It's over 160 miles and mainly urban but that sounds way low I'm not on a track!
Anyone else got a 2.0ltr Tsi typical mpg?

Re: Throttle delay
Glad there are already experiencing this as I've come from NA 4.5ltr V8 to a 2.0ltr turbo petrol .. Had worked it out to just be turbo lag (didn't know it was fly by wire throttle) so I was thinking would a new map help and it seems so. I was already thinking about the Revo stage 1 so what maps did ...

Re: Check deadlock?
Hello,
Googled it and it was exactly what a few people have mentioned relating to reminding you the car has a deadlock lol
Sorry I just assumed it was a fault as it says check owners manual with exclamation marks!!!
Bit dramatic VW
