2.0 Tsi mpg

Post by Wiz1987 »

Hello,

What are fellow 2.0TSI DSG owners getting mpg wise?

I drive mainly urban but the car is saying 15-17 over 160 miles I've done in her now and when the tank was full only said range was 200 odd miles??

Seems way low to me as I'm not driving that spirited

Car isn't mapped or modded .... Yet :p

I'm averaging 28.9 at the minute. I can get up in the high 30's on a good motorway run.

Wiz,

Have you reset the onboard computer logs to clear out historical MPG readings - setting 2 on the Multi Function Display is cumulative "since the last reset" and could store up a lot of old, low-MPG trips. Setting 1 is the "current trip" which clears back to zero if the engine is off for more than 2 / 2.5 hours, so it should be more representative.

I understand that setting 2 governs the displayed figure for Range.

Hope this helps a bit.

Yeah I've reset them again now and I will fill her up again when she runs out and let you know - today's drive to work was around 20mpg

Maybe I just have a lead foot :D
