Yeah it's from the firmware not the map updates. The details should be on that my-gti link, but it's worth upgrading to the latest version you can so quickly becomes irrelevant

Polished out some scratches and flatted back the dodgy paint repairs with wet+dry paper then compound - worked beautifully. tiny bit of low gloss remains, think i need a finer compound but in danger of getting flatter than the existing paintwork too, might wait and get the whole car done by machine....
