Hi guys. I currently own a scirocco GT tdi (140ps). I'm looking to move up to the R, however looking at the specs of the GT tsi i was wondering if the R is actually worth all the extra expense just for the extra second to 60? Also looking into the DSG gearbox, can anyone tell me whether or not they...

Unsurprisingly..after getting the car back from vw who have just replaced the handbrake mechanism...the centre console now creaks...idiots

I had the repair done today too, not had chance to drive it yet though as they have only just delivered it home to me. Will see tomorrow

Sales mgr admitted that in the rush to get the car out before Xmas they forgot to do the checks....they are collecting it on Monday

During light acceleration I can here a rattle at approx 2100 revs. Lasts until 2300. Anyone?

Done 50 miles since collecting my Scirocco from the Audi dealership...and the low oil light comes on. Popped the bonnet and both the oil and expansion bottle are on min levels. Surely their prep and 148 point checks should have identified and dealt with these? And the handbrake button has has stuck ...

I am not aware of problems/issues with handbrakes on the Roc.

Longlife is variable depending how the car is driven. Its not 20k miles/2 years fixed. Two years is the limit, not what it will trigger at. With it being 6/6months its may be coincidence but could have been set to 12 months/10K miles not Longlife. Check which box the PDI technician ticked in the Bo...
