Centre console creaking
Unsurprisingly..after getting the car back from vw who have just replaced the handbrake mechanism...the centre console now creaks...idiots

Had that when I took it apart, applied a little bit of silcon spray to the offending join at the base of the handbrake mechanism cover where it meets the horizontal part going forward towards the drinks holder.. Never returned in 2.5 years.

My centre console seems to rattle a bit. if i press the gear leaver gaiter towards the handbrake it seems to stop. Feel like taking all of the panels off sometimes and stuff insulation foam on everything!
