I've been suffering with the same problem, it started after a month or so after buying the car from new.

Dealer said it was the intank fuel pump, which was replaced yesterday, it made no difference, the whine is still there when the engine is running.

I have both in my new Scirocco. For car-net, one needs to set up one's phone as a wifi mobile hotspot (ie tethering) for this to operate depending on your phone contract. For app-connect, yes, there is a £100 cost involved but it allows your phone & car to run Android Auto & Apple Carplay. ...

This must be a new "feature" then as my 62 plate Roc GT illuminated the dash when 'sidelights' were turned on.

Picked up a new facelift R-Line last week and noticed the following.

When I have the sidelights on, the dash cluster is not illuminated.

When the main lights are on, the dash cluster is illuminated.

My dealer says this is normal and not a fault. Can any of you guys assist?

Just been on the VW configurator, new month, new Sciroccos, well the Black Edition line has been introduced, purely cosmetic though. I also noticed that Viper Green as a colour choice has been withdrawn from all models of Scirocco. Will that colour become a collector's edition? Only time will tell!

It drives well so far. Will take her out for a proper run during the weekend.

My new build has just arrived in the UK. All being well I should have her by the end of the month.

UV was one of my colour choices for my new build R-Line which I ordered this month.

It was a choice between UV and Indium Grey.

Having seen both in the flesh at my local dealer, I went with Indium Grey.

UV is unique, not many out on the roads, it's a good colour choice.

No mods planned, going to keep it as is.

The colour is exactly the same of an RX8 I had for 6 years before a hail storm wrote it off!

I placed the order yesterday and went with indium grey.

I've narrowed it down to Ultra Violet & Idium Grey.

Along with the new 177bhp model, I've also noticed that the RNS510 now comes with DAB as standard.

I went for the 2.0 TDI Bluemotion GT purely for the fuel economy and still wanting a coupe. I'm averaging 54mpg on a daily commute.

This was coming over from an RX8 which I had for nearly 7 years which averaged 18mpg on a daily commute.
