New Roc - Undecided on colour

Post by mikezero »

Hi guys!

I'm currently on my second Roc and about to replace it with a third.

I'm upgrading from a GT 140 manual diesel to an R-Line 184 manual diesel with a pana roof and a lot of extra electrical gubbins, Xenons, Park Assist, etc.

To this date I'm still undecided on the colour as my 1st and 2nd Roc's have been Candy White and I'm looking for something different but eye catching.

I'm looked at the Ultra-Violet and Rising Blue. This week I'll get to see the Viper Green in the flesh with black alloys.

Any suggestions / photos of different colour and wheel combinations would be most welcome. I've had a look in the showroom and at the mo UV with Talladega alloys has caught my attention.

I saw my first ultraviolet Roc in the flesh a couple of weeks ago on the A64 - it looked really nice. It was a sunny day and the colour really seemed to alter as you looked at it from a different angle. In some light it was much darker than I imagined (after seeing a photo on here).
Last week I saw a facelift 15 plate in viper green on the M42 and it looked fantastic. I think our next one will be one of these colours.
Just don't go for white again!

Stay clear of the Ultra violet. Worst colour ever. Looks awful. Really common. :shake:

Rising blue and black are my favorites and they re-sell well (unlike viper green which will cost you).

I've ordered flash red for the 1.4 TSI model. Does anyone know why red is not offered for R-Line or the R model?

Saw an Ultra-Violet one in the flesh a few weeks ago and thought it was stunning however, looks difficult to keep clean:-)

No mods planned, going to keep it as is.

The colour is exactly the same of an RX8 I had for 6 years before a hail storm wrote it off!
