They moved it, the button is no longer near the gear shift its been moved to the glove box, its above the airbag switch.

I spoke to my dealer and they are happy to fit the FISCON unit so you dont have to.

You might need to wash the car with the two bucket method, then dry, then polish with something like Autoglym's Super Resin Polish and see how it looks. I would try avoid T-cut at the moment, as it can be very course, there are lots of finer ones out there that will not do as much damage to the pain...

It will depend on your build week and also if all the rumours are true, that they will be changing the FIS to the same as the Passat cc.
