Would you de-badge a GT?
Would you de-badge a GT?
As above guys just wondering as the GT is currently the highest spec model would you guys consider de-badging it or do you think it looks better displaying what model it is?

Re: Would you de-badge a GT?
The "GT" is just a trim level IMHO. There is nothing that is on the GT spec only that you can't pay for as an extra for the 1.4TSI, which isn't available to order as standard in GT variant fo the 2.0TSI and 2.0TDI (except the chrome pipes on the 2.0TSI).
Most people would probably assume that with Interlagos wheels and front fogs attached you had a GT. If you dont like the badges on the back then by all means remove them - I don't think it would make a GT look less like a GT to remove them.

I would debadge.
I don't care what others think of my engine, plus it makes the car easier to polish

Does anyone know if the badges are stuck on or are they mounted in place.

The badges are stuck on and quite easy to remove.Dan Fitz wrote:Does anyone know if the badges are stuck on or are they mounted in place.
