If they are aluminium caps, make sure you use a little vaseline when putting them on otherwise they'll bond to the valves as they corrode.

It's a turbo boost button. Much like the one in KITT. If you press the green button you get a sudden burst of speed and you can jump over bridges and other obstacles.

That suspension noise is not normal. Mine sounds nothing like that. I get a high pitched whine from the air conditioning unit. Having the stereo on drowns it out as does driving with a heavy right foot.

My car has been with the dealership since 25th August. They still can't fix the fault. They've replaced so many parts but to no avail as yet. I'm on holiday until 7th September, so I'm hoping it's fixed on my return.

This was from someone who works at VW. I can't give you a name as I wasn't meant to know. If you have specced the app connect then you will most definitely get the MIB 2. Just be prepared that it might be called in for an update not long after you get the car should the issues not be resolved before...

My only issue with the the MIB 2 unit is the sat nav. It can take ages to enter and address or recalculate a route. I had this system on my SEAT Leon. The RNS, although it has a small screen, works pretty much flawlessly.

The unit you have is the current MIB 2. This has since been pulled from the Scirocco. Some cars through May and June had these fitted but in mid June they reverted back to the RNS systems.
