Re: What an expensive car....
I think you have ruffled a few feathers on here my friend I agree it was probably sensible to budget for running a r model ,but with fuel cost going through th roof everyone is hit in the pocket ,although iam happy with fuel return on my 20tsi I averaged over 42 on motorway at 70/75 plus it's always...

Re: Where does all the RNS510's come from?
I'm looking in to upgrading to a RNS510 and find alot of them for sale out on different web sites. Some second hand, some claimed to be brand new out of the box, etc, etc, Prices seem generally very low (about 800€ for a C-version) compared to the VW price, which obviously makes me think somethings...

Re: Need quick advice, Leather or Cloth
I wanted leather, but found the right car without it - having had leather in my last 4 cars, I was disappointed, but don't regret not holding out for leather. The cloth looks good, comfy, isn't hot/cold and saves a fair amount of £'s too. :) until you come to sell the car.the money saved on purchas...

Re: Which Tyres are the best?
why would you buy a tyre just because it looks good, surely grip especially in the wet must be no1 consideration, unless you want a good looking tyre wrapped around a tree!

Re: mdi lead. free from dealers?
Unless they've changed what they give out, the dealers were meant to give both USB and iPod cables with the MDI - did with both my Scirocco and more recently the OH's Passat CC in November 2010. IIRC part of the problem is that the dealer has to order the cables separate to the car delivery and oft...
