As Im leasing through VW... Ive just rang them and they have told me tyres need to be changed on a like for like.... ie if I dont give them back on "premium" branded tyres I could be charged... I asked is it often that you charge for tyres that are non premium, and he said he couldnt answe...

need some tyres to get me through winter before I hand car back in April on lease...
anyone ever seen this make?

unfortunatly dont have tyres included in plan...
but leasing company i went through today told me today tyres are like cd players... VW dont expect you to replace there CD player if it breaks with a cheap version!

Mine is actually a lease also...... and I know that the lease company I went to to buy the car had 15 people waiting for a car the same time I ordered in Aug..... most of them cancelled! (i think 10 in total)...... this has meant the lease company have loads of cars on order!.... I think they can ch...

Yeah it was because VW decided to upgrade all the 2l diesel engines to Bluemotion ones, so they had to stop the build line and start afresh with all the models, think the passat and golf were first in line...... the scriocco was probably one of the last... v annoying tho... think I must have ordered...

Hi All... I ordered a 2.0l tdi GT in August 2010.......I was told at time of ordering it was a Nov delivery..... now 7 months later Ive been told that the build date is mid March... I recieved a passat hire car for delay, but v-annoyed now at the amount of time I have waited!... anybody else in same...

Ok yeah that might be good idea, at least at end of lease I can take out unit then.... As car is on a 2 year lease I really hate paying hundreds if not thousands for extras I give back to the lease company at end!.... Do you know if I just buy a VW satnav unit off ebay say, is it just a case of swap...

Someone told me they were and just believed them stupidly...... I did think it made sence tho as thought it was just a mic (which would be buttons) and the bluetooth was built into the CD unit so therefore would just need enabling.... but obviously more to it... I take it its cheaper to pay £250 on ...

bascially as the title says..... is the bluetooth kit already installed if you dont order it on build? bascially Im waiting on a new scriocco gt on a lease and wondered if it was cheaper for me to just pay the £250 to have bluetooth enabled.... or retrofit / code it after? I hoped to get satnav also...

just wondered if anybody knew if the VAT increase will effect personal lease cars? even if the lease company bought the car at 17.5% rate?
ItS a question i didnt ask.... I do expect it to go up but just wanted to check it cant be argued?

Apparently I have just been told that I cant get a hire car till christmas eve... which convently means I probably wont get it till after xmas.. its interesting to know about the 16 to 18 week thing, I am currently on just over 16 weeks, but if I dont get a car till after xmas then it will be past 1...

Ive was told its not the leasing company but actually VW that are giving out the cars due to there muck up....
