Re: Which Tyres are the best?
So very quick to jump to the assumption. I did a fair bit of research and found that these tyres are made by Continental and the reviews were very good. My experience is that they are quieter and provide far superior handling in both wet and dry compared to the Dunlop Sports. Check out the reviews....

Re: Is RCD 510 Aux in Handsfree??
Viper, It will possibly send the sound of the call thorugh the speakers but you would have to hold the phone to your face for the other person to be able to hear you. The amount of back ground noise in the car would kill your voice. Fiscon do a bluetooth adaptor that fits the head unit and allows yo...

Re: Wiring your Sat-Nav (TomTom) in
Mine is mounted in the centre cubby using the cigarette lighter, the same as Trix has her smartphone. I fixed a TomTom mounting plate on the roof of the cubby and use the window suction mount to hold my GO730. Ignition off and the cigarette lighter isn't live so no issues about battery drain. Thats...

Hated it pretty much from the minute I drove it off the forecourt. That was after 2 extended test drives... :-( It ...

Re: Meet baby blonde :-)
Thank you :-)
@Chungster thats what wifes are for :-) so they get the family wagon. We have a mercedes ML as the family wagon, although we have just ordered a replacement as it is coming up for 3 years old. But not that much of a family wagon as she wanted an e-class convertable.

Re: For those that don't want to clean
Chris, If your not keen on doing too much maintenance yourself I would offer the following advice. Pay a pro to do the hard work for you and then just do the weekly/fortnightly maintenance. I used to think nothing of spending 8 hours on a saturday washing, claying, polishing and waxing my car but no...

DO you mean after ordering a new car? If yes then the answer is no. Thats why they only give approx delivery dates.

Re: MAX SPEED
Wow in that case I am obviously wrong! a 200hp scirocco will easily do 156 mph as they can apperently do close to 170mph... (I know 270kmh is only 168mph but I was using artisitic license ;-) )

Re: MAX SPEED
I hit 150mph (240 Km/h) on an empty stretch of highway but then it wasn't so empty anymore  I drive a REVO remapped 1.4 and I reckon it should hit a similar MAX speed as the 2.0L. If I had to guess, I would say 250Km/h is a fairly reasonable target. 250kph is about 156mph, I doubt very much ...
