Re: RNS510 not starting up
Mine was doing the same thing. I went to these guys who fixed it for about £90. http://www.rns510repairserviceuk.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Driver side heated seat issue
Hi all,
My Scirocco has heated fabric seats. The passenger side works perfectly, but the driver side is intermittent. If I turn it on, it will get very warm very quickly, but then turns off. What's the best way to go about fixing this/does anyone have any idea how much VW might charge?
Cheers,
Sam

Re: RNS510 issue
Used this guy in Northampton for exactly the same issue as you. He did it for £90 and now working, this was only a few weeks ago so I don't know longevity, although don't see why it wouldn't be another few years. http://www.rns510repairserviceuk.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return ...

Re: DSG judder question
Is it a sign of something to be worried about, or can I just live with it?

Re: Scirocco 2.0 TSI GT DSG fuel economy
How would I know about the inlet manifold...would I have to take it to a garage? Are there any other symptoms that might suggest it?

Re: RNS 510 boot loop
Ah cheers. Do you have the link to the thread you found that link in? I've had the VW dealership guys tell me it's a problem with the HDD that needs to be replaced (costing £400) and that guy say it's the motherboard that can be fixed for £90...

RNS 510 boot loop
I have an RNS 510 unit in my car, the one with the satnav etc, but yesterday after starting the car the RNS510 won't turn on. It's stuck in some sort of loop, where the "Welcome to Volkswagen" screen appears and then disappears, and then appears again. Any ideas?

Re: Scirocco 2.0 TSI GT DSG fuel economy
I generally sit at 70 on a motorway run, so would be expecting something in the early 40s...I got 34.5 on a 160 mile run from london primarily on motorways (98%) sitting at 70.

Re: Scirocco 2.0 TSI GT DSG fuel economy
yeah i know it'll be driving dependent, but long journeys certainly I sit at 70/75, no hard acceleration etc so was expecting 40s! I might try a tank of V-power or something, so far I've just been using standard unleaded.

Scirocco 2.0 TSI GT DSG fuel economy
Hi guys, new here! I've had two Rocs, a 1.4 TSI manual that I drove for a week before I got hit by a car cycling, and more recently a 2.0 TSI GT DSG which I bought as I can no longer drive manuals. I'm absolutely loving the car, but just wondering about fuel economys...the 2.0 TSI is quoted as 38 MP...
