Its the water pump/supercharger clutch and the whole unit has to be changed.

Another problem solved.

Got an engine noise lately that is constant...cyclic, and stops when supercharger engages. Its also there when i drive it, again when the supercharger is off.
And always comes back when supercharges dissengages.


Any ideas?

The area seems to be exactly behind steering wheel in the engine part. when i get out of the car i hear the same noise exactly under the bonnet. That is of course if i put my head close. The sound seem to always be there but get stronger and enters the cabin when i get i put my foot on the pedal.

Hey guys...took my car from vw yesterday after an oil change and today i noticed this: The car when in neutral(manual gearbox) has a constant clicking noise and when i rev the car it follows. Yeap...your right...i guess they mixed some of the Golf VI or Passat CC interior. I just hope that thing about the white lights has something to do with LED!!
