Re: Drivethedeal, CarWow, Orangewheels etc?

I used drivethedeal when I bought mine almost a year ago. Absolutely spot on, honest, friendly and helpful service, great discount (better than carwow and orangewheels in this case) and the dealer wasn't too far away from where I live anyway. Would definitely recommend, what's not to like!

Re: Speedo confusing

Yes I've had a facelift since September last year, the only thing I don't love about it is the ridiculous speedometer design! Don't know what they were thinking, they couldn't have made it look more confusing and messy if they had tried...

new 'Discover' navigation system

I noticed that on new builds, the newer 'Discover' navigation system is available as an option. I currently have the RNS315, does anyone know if this new system will be available as an aftermarket upgrade and if so is it worth upgrading to? Car-Net seems like it would be pretty cool.

Re: New facelift order

I have the colour MFD on mine, it's ok but you aren't missing much - it's only colour in a few keylines and background elements. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have bothered but I like gadgety things!

Re: Facelift 1.4tsi in Urano Grey

something that I don't like on the Facelift is the speedometer - it has both MPH and KPH and looks really cluttered, I have to look really closely to see what the speed is. I believe that previous versions only have MPH on RHD cars. The MFD only shows KPH too which is annoying. Not my car but it loo...

Re: Facelift 1.4tsi in Urano Grey

No plans - I'm more of a casual driver (the trim is the basic level which is probably why it looks simple to you :p) Gauges are oil temp, stopwatch/old school digital clock, and turbo.

Its a pretty big upgrade for me in every way (previous car was a Citroen C1), loving it right now!

Facelift 1.4tsi in Urano Grey

Here's my brand new car, picked it up on Saturday! Specs are: 1.4tsi manual in Urano Grey with: - rear tinted windows - rear view camera - RNS315 - Keyless entry - colour MFD Was a bit worried about the colour (hadn't seen it in person until I picked up the car) in case it would be quite flat and du...

Re: New facelift order

I am so jealous of you right now. How long did it take for your dealer to turn the car around? I must admit these problems wouldn't seem as bad if I was just waiting for a normal boring car but the fact it's something quite exciting the wait is killing. My dealer suggested they were holding them ba...

Re: New facelift order

I asked my dealer where the cars go but he didn't know other than Portugal > UK. Seems to be pretty quick though, mine went from 'In transit' to 'arrived in UK' in 15 days.

Re: New facelift order

Had my order confirmed a couple of weeks ago for a base 1.4 petrol model in urano grey with rear view cam, tinted rear windows, colour MFD, kessy, sat nav. Was told it would be 12-14 weeks but I don't think they really had much idea beyond what I assumed was a generic timeframe...

Re: Keyless entry

Thanks mate! I went for the base trim 1.4 in urano grey with a few extra options on top (I'm more of a casual driver). Got the rear view camera as I heard it's recommended, keyless as mentioned, satnav, and colour MFD because I'm a massive nerd for stuff like that! Been looking to buy a scirocco for...
