I've got the same problem on mine. Have had to have the rear alignment adjusted but I didn't realise until the tyres started rumbling and now the car is noiser than it should be.

Is it damaged? Also, how old was the Scirocco? The light console looks to have different buttons in it to mine.

Does it have the dark or the light roof lining? I'd buy the roof lining, front light console and grab handles if it is dark.

I ordered at the end of June and collected it in the middle of October - not too bad at all. It went through a dealer same as any other order.

I bought through Drivethedeal and the experience was very positive - cost £19400. I picked the car up three weeks ago.

I heard a rumour that all the 2010 GT cars now come with a dark roof lining, whether they have leather or not? Does anyone have one of these or know if it is true?

I've just sold my Punto Sporting 1.9 and I am about to pick up my 140Tdi GT too! I sold my Punto back to the Fiat dealer, they gave me easily the best price for it.

If the car is a demonstrator it might not be available for a few months, in which case they might anticipate it covering 3500 miles.

So you reckon that it might be just a precaution? When I have spoken to them on the phone they have quoted about 3-4 weeks from delivery, and the build week hasn't varied from week 39 for a long time.

I've had a letter through today, saying that I have a confirmed build week of 39, but that VW quote 10 weeks from point of build to arrival at the dealership. This doesn't seem to tally with other people's experiences on here - any thoughts?

My car is listed at £22045 on the VW website as of today and I am paying £19400 for it so I'm pretty happy with that!

I've just sold my 57 plate Grande Punto Sporting Multijet back to the Fiat dealer for a grand more than anyone else offered me, including through private adverts! Now driving my dad's 1.6 8v T reg Astra Club estate for a few weeks until my Scirocco arrives at the beginning of October....

It used to be that only 2.0 Tsi models and all models with leather had the black headlining. However, there was a report a few days ago that there is a cloth 2.0 tdi gt around with black headlining so it may have changed for the 2010 spec.

sounds good - has anyone else got a 2010 diesel or 1.4 with cloth and a black roof lining?

Anyone got any ideas of the best way to sell my current car? It's a 57 Grande Punto Sporting.
