Build date to delivery
I've had a letter through today, saying that I have a confirmed build week of 39, but that VW quote 10 weeks from point of build to arrival at the dealership. This doesn't seem to tally with other people's experiences on here - any thoughts?

Re: Build date to delivery
Yea that doesn't quite tally, Usual window seems to be 2 - 4 weeks. I have a build week of 39 and my dealer reckons I'm well on track for an October delivery.

Re: Build date to delivery
I spoke to my dealer yesterday, he said my car will be getting build in 4 weeks time (week 41) and that i can expect delivery about 4 weeks later

Re: Build date to delivery
So you reckon that it might be just a precaution? When I have spoken to them on the phone they have quoted about 3-4 weeks from delivery, and the build week hasn't varied from week 39 for a long time.
Re: Build date to delivery
sounds like it is week 39 most likely then, mine didn't change from week 41 for about 3 or 4 weeks before it 'froze'
