selling a scirocco

Post by euromerc »

Where can I sell a damaged (spares only) Scirocco?

Top offer so far has been £500, which seems a bit lame for a car with a good front end.

Anyone here have any ideas for a good home for it?

the engine has to be worth £1500-2000 alone. Although they're probably not worth a massive amount I'll take the plastic air dam assembly /lower bumper grille, fog surrounds, engine cover, battery cover, air box lid and the bottles off you at an appropriate price. It would be a shame for them to go to waste ;). What are the rubbing strips and mirror caps like? I'm sure someone here will have your alloys, especially if they are 18s or 19s.

Interior is mint, as are the wheels, I'll strip it if you think there's demand for the parts.

I took some photos today if anyone is interested?

It's hit square accross the back, so nothing off the rear end.

If you want the bottles etc you are welcome to come and take them off for a modest price.

Does it have the dark or the light roof lining? I'd buy the roof lining, front light console and grab handles if it is dark.

Dunno, I'll have a look, it might be damaged though, the car was hit quite hard, and the tailgate has been pushed into the roof.

The lining is very dark grey, virtually black, I took a photo:

But the flash makes it look much lighter than it really is...

Is it damaged? Also, how old was the Scirocco? The light console looks to have different buttons in it to mine.

Thanks

Spa wheels with tyres will go for arond £500 alone.

Are you sure yo meant to say £500 in your first post and not £5000. As this car is worth much more than £500 for breaking.
