its just nice to have opinions from other car enthusiasts that have similar interests due to being on a Scirocco forum. stock for stock the 235i's too expensive, if i was willing to spend around that money id wait for the new TTS which will be 39k and tbf looks incredibly well equipped and 4.7 to 60...

I suppose, but the M235i's knocking on 40 grand.. then the M2 will come out and destroy it.

Hi All, My PCP will be coming up for renewal soon and i'm left with a small dilemma.. I've currently got the 2.0TSi with DSG and i really have no idea what car i would choose next. I don't want to get a Roc R because i would imagine they will release a new rocco altogether in 2015-16 and prices will...

unfortunately i don't get any sort of rattle when the car is parked regardless of being revved or not.

it only happens when moving and seems to be worse on bas road surface.
i'm going to take it into the dealers tomorrow and see if they have any joy,
I cant seem to find it!

looks like the rattle wasn't the bonnet rod, the search continues...

ill have a go at the bending slightly although i cant see any rubber on mine???

Hi all. Had my Roc since march and i'm still very pleased with it over all. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed this.. i seem to be getting a dull rattle under the bonnet when driving, which gets worse when on rough surfaces which in sheffield is more often than not. i think its the bonnet rod...

silly question but where did you get the red tape from! haha

ahh i figured out what my problem was.

you have to hold traction control off for about 5 seconds to turn off ESC aswell.

although it does just light the tyres up instead of an effective launch

I've been reading quite a bit about this so called launch control and just wondered if you had any feedback or advice... so my cars done just over 1,600 miles now so i thought id give the launch a try. so i put it in 'S' turned traction control off put my foot on the break and planted the t...

i suppose it does make up for the lower insurance premium, although i almost bought a 6 month old S3 before i ordered my new roc and the insurance wasn't much different..

yeah i suppose, would be nicer being able to explain my car rather than what its called on VW's website as a Scirocco GT 2.0 TSI 210 DSG! haha

Right we all no that the 2.0 TSI is effectively the GTI but why isn't it branded that way?

what's all your thoughts on why they did this?
