Scirocco Central

Hi I remember seeing on here there was a seller who had available LED DRL's which worked in the Scirocco as the standard bulbs are yellow and horrid. when respraying the engine cover do you need to use heat resistant paint? or would say standard spray ontop of primer and then lanqured a couple of time do the trick?
