Hope someone can shed some light on this for me , as it seems the fans tend to come on after every other journey ever since the emissions update .

I know it is also a sign of the DPF regenerating just worried it's happening a lot !

Decided to let the roc go at 90k miles !

Pretty sure on switching to the GTD . Has anyone had any experience of a similar swap , mk7 GTD of course !

When my car was in, I just signed a disclaimer and told them not to do the update. If you do get it done though, you do get a free gift of a pen, keyring and flask mug. Ever since I owned my roc I could hold the unlock button and the sunroof and windows would go down - all of a sudden it's stopped doing it ? - anyone know why ?

Hi everyone , I seem to be changing tyres every year on the front , and before people presume I don't drive like some idiots out there !!!

Have tried Pirelli and Bridgestone , can anyone suggest a harder wearing brand or specific tyre ??

Whenever I remove the key the widescreen wiper on the left hand side seems to twitch slightly , has anyone else had this and also is it normal ?

I do have automatic wipers not sure whether this has something to do with it ?

Yeah we did have a mild day and it did seem to feel smoother , just an observation I picked up , glad it's not just me !

I may be stating the obvious but when cold the DSG box doesn't seem as sharp , I only ask as I've only had the rocco a month and ever since it has been snowing and haven't covered a long journey yet?

Is it typical for the dsg not to be as responsive or sharp when cold ?

I have a 140d dsg GT and have just replaced my BMW 1 series , I've found the scirocco is a lot louder in the cabin than the BMW , could anyone confirm that the 140D does not have this silly device ??

Have a look in the A pillar, there will possibly be a springy clip in it (it should just be painted metal), save you going to the dealers. thanks Shaun . I've now fixed it , as you said the metal clip was jus loose further down the a pillar , managed to slot into back into the holder and then clipp...

Appreciate all the help guys , and yeah as you say may not be Down to vw at all . Only had it a week so will take it back to vw so they can put all new clips in etc cheers

Can anybody shed some light on this please ? The panel has become loose for some reason think clips might be missing ? To have this problem on a 17,000 pound car ?
